It was a pretty normal day today for Ten on Ten. A little dark and gloomy outside but the red cups debuted at Starbucks and we had fun enjoying Holiday drinks while listing to some Christmas music and digging into some fun crafting too. I realize that there is so much I desperately need to share in this space – for instance the darling woman in braids is Erica, my assistant for over a year with Rebekah Gough Jewelry but I don’t think she has never been formally introduced here on my blog…#fail! But I am in this constantly weird head space about blogging (you too?). I love writing and sharing, I love documenting beauty through my lens (hello Ten on Ten for nine years?!!) I love crafts and baking…but the pull and sway of popular social media keeps me away. For instance do I add a link up to this post? Do people do that anymore?? You guys tell me, I would truly love to know where you are sitting with blogs these days. Which ones do you read and why. What do you like – what inspires you into your role in this beautiful world we’ve been given to participate in?
I’m here and I’m kind of fixing to jump back in but I know I’ve said that before. Sharing life publicly has both incredible blessing and can be altogether terrifying. I am honored to even have a space to share though and good grief do I just adore looking through old old posts of my life and counting all the goodness and blessing that has transpired. I stand consistent in that I believe we all have beauty in our everyday lives and if Ten on Ten is the one constant that forces me to mark it down every single month than I don’t think I could ever quit this project.
So I hope you had a beautiful day in whatever you found around you, I’m here and I’m trudging through with you on this journey. Be back soon with more of my heart to share. xoxo
